Ingredients:
- 6 Cups of thinly Slices Granny Smith Apples
- ¾ Cup Chopped Almonds & Pine Nuts
- ¾ Cup Raisins
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Rind (Grated)
- ¼ Cup Melted Butter (Not Margarine)
- ¾ Cup Castor Sugar
- 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
- 3 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 4 Sheets (8 ozs) Puff Pastry (Thawed)
Directions:
- Mix apples, Raisins, Lemon Rind, Sugar, Cinnamon & Nuts.
- Cook & Stir Breadcrumbs with ¼ Cup Butter until lightly browned.
- Sprinkle ½ of breadcrumbs on pastry sheet.
- Mound ½ of the filling on top of breadcrumbs, leaving a 3” strip
- Around the pastry sheet. Brush around the edges lightly with Milk.
- Carefully place on top another pastry sheet. Go around edges with a fork
(This attaches both the sheets together), then make a few holes in the
Top for ventilation.. Lightly brush a little milk over the top.

- Cook in oven 180C for 20-25 minutes until brown
