SHEPHERD'S PIE

THESE ARE APPROXIMATE AMOUNTS
    INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 lbs. ground hamburg (approx.)
  • 6 white potatoes cut in half or quarters (approx.)
  • 1 pkg. Lipton Instant Onion Mix
  • 1 14 1/2 oz. College Inn Beef Broth
  • 1 cup of water
  • 3 to 4 tbs. flour and enough water to mix to thicken for gravy. If more needed to thicken use it.
  • l- 14.75 oz can of golden sweet cream style corn If more corn is desired you may add another can.
    DIRECTIONS:
  • Brown hamburg and mix well. Drain off excess fat.
  • Add instant onion mix, Beef broth and water.
  • Bring to boil and simmer on low.
  • Mix the flour and water until no lumps and stir into hamburg mixture to thicken.
  • Cook potatoes until tender, Drain water and mash with about 1/2 cup of butter or margerine. Do not add milk.
  • Pour hamburg mixture into an oven proof casserole dish. Over hamburg spread mashed potatoes then top with cream corn.
  • Sprinkle top with paprika and put under the broiler until top starts turning brown.
